About Keith Greene SEO
A Brief History
I wrote my first computer program at the age of 9 in BASIC on a Commodore Vic20. In high-school I studied the C programming language and got into an incident when I "discovered" a security hole in the school's administrative network. My punishment was to give tutorials to the faculity about how to properly secure a software system. In University I studied philosophy and logic, and monitored the Unix and Win 3.1 computer laboratory as part of a work/study program to pay for my tuition fees. I designed my first HTML site in 1994 for the indie band I played in, and added further tweaks and javascript upgrades. By 2001, I was designing soely in Macromedia Flash... In 2005, I came to my senses and went back to HTML/CSS site design.
I started as a Junior SEO with Fivermedia in 2007 and discovered that search engine optimization came quite naturally to me. By 2008 had been promoted to the Senior SEO Strategist position. After Fiver Media I joined Thirdi, a Vancouver based software development company, to help build out Thirdi's internet marketing arm.
